How I Help

I integrate various evidence-based approaches to help you heal from painful experiences, navigate loss, and build a more authentic relationship with yourself. I believe you are the expert of your own body, and my role is to help you better understand what’s keeping you stuck, feel supported, and find a way forward that feels meaningful and sustainable.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Trauma, grief, and painful life experiences can continue to affect the way you think, feel, and relate to yourself long after they happen. EMDR helps the brain process these experiences so they feel less overwhelming and no longer hold the same emotional weight.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Whether you're struggling with an eating disorder, body image, perfectionism, or self-criticism, IFS helps you better understand the different parts of yourself with curiosity and compassion. Instead of fighting against yourself, this approach helps you build self-trust and create lasting change.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
When anxiety, OCD, or intrusive thoughts begin running the show, it can feel exhausting trying to control them. ACT helps you develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions so they have less power over your life, allowing you to move toward what matters most.
Solution-Focused Therapy
You don’t always need to understand every part of a problem before you can start making things better. Solution-Focused Therapy helps us notice what’s already working, build on your strengths, and find realistic steps toward the changes you want to make.
Grief Therapy
Grief can be complicated, painful, and different for everyone. Using Worden’s Four Tasks of Mourning, I support clients in processing their loss, exploring the many emotions that come with grief, and finding a path forward that feels meaningful and authentic.
